Who We Are

John Munro has over a decade of new caravan & RV sales experience and is the Dealer Principal. John ran a successful parts washer rental & service company in the 90s and started the new caravan sales yard (called Gazal Caravans Adelaide) back in 1996. Next door, brother Daniel Munro & brother-in-law James Brown were running Sopru Campervans. It was decided to merge the two businesses and Camperagent was born. John is passionate about layout, design & colour selections and enjoys assisting customers to find their perfect combination. His skill in this area makes him a great help to new caravan customers.

Daniel Munro is our motorhome man. After years of running the service station side of the roadhouse in the 90s & helping plenty of RV-ers he developed a vast mechanical knowledge of all types of motorhomes. He's gone on to sell hundreds of them in the years since starting Camperagent. He's involved in new Winnebago Sales & Service and he likes big engines. Daniel and his family spent 6 months touring Australia so he really understands life on the road.

David Munro has taken on the role of Service and Yard Manager. With such a large yard & high turnover of caravans and motorhomes, brother David manages our stock & yard presentation. Up to 60 sales per month and often up to 200 caravans & campers in the yard requires clever logistics and David is up to the task.

Kevin Munro (Father) has many years of experience with sales & marketing, ranging from a large real estate company in the late 70s through to hospitality businesses in the 80s & a very successful road house at Port Wakefield in the 90s. Kevin manages finance and the sale of used caravans and really enjoys coming to work. He likes to "do a deal" and we are glad he still enjoys selling with us.

Jane Brown (nee Munro) is our Office Manager and is also in charge of finance, storage & caravan rentals. She has a background in managing small business & accounting. Jane is a singer, song-writer and musician, and can be heard around Adelaide now and then.

Aunty Rosemarie is responsible for internet marketing. She and her husband have driven across Canada and explored the UK in a campervan. Rosemarie has been a language teacher and proofreader, and has a background in real estate.

Rick Lazell has been in caravan sales for many years, and specialises in new caravan designs & ordering. As our New Caravan Warranty & Parts Manager, he delights to be of service to our customers. He has been around Australia many times, and has recently travelled across the US including Route 66 on his new Harley. Rick loves wolfhounds and motorbikes.

Lynton Allen has joined us to promote motorhome sales, and in particular the exciting Winnebago range. His background is in the mechanical area, and in particular Fiat, Isuzu and Iveco. He was top salesman in commercial Fiats at NE Fiat. Lynton and his wife have owned motorhomes and campervans since 1984.

Ivor Earl looks after our used caravans and the camper trailers. He has an engineering and technical background. He's driven limousines and trucks and spent three years as the chief engineer and cruise director on the Proud Mary, our Murray River paddle steamer. Ivor loves life in the bush and off the beaten track.

Darryl Fenton is our Motorhome Service & Warranty Supervisor. He has many years experience in the caravan and RV industry. He's a mad keen dad and 4WD racer.

Gary Hurrell also works in repairs & maintenance and performs the occasional miracle on vans passing through the workshop. He's a real family man, loves camping, nature and animals.

Darren Shammall is our Caravan Service Manager and is in charge of our caravan detailing & repairs team. He loves the outdoors – sitting around a campfire under a dark sky, and always ready to throw a line in for whatever's biting.

Brad has worked for ETSA for years and is now our full time electrical guru. He handles all our testing & new installations plus fits solar systems, brake controllers, anderson plugs, & UHF radios for our customers. Brad is an avid car enthusiast as well.

Shane, Nicky, Terry, Trudy, Hayden and Alan make up the detailing team. All vans coming through the yard get carefully detailed and have report sheets completed to confirm everything is working. We often get comments about how clean our vans are so our preparation team does a great job.
